Dr Braybrook, the male GP at the practice, qualified from Cardiff University in 2006. His main clinical interest is in mental health and wellbeing. He predominantly works Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

Nurses
Our Practice nurses offer a wide range of services including health promotion screening including smears; childhood immunisations; new patient health check; blood pressure monitoring; travel vaccinations and advice; contraceptive advice; smoking cessation and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes; asthma; COPD and heart disease.
They also continue to offer traditional treatment room services such as removal of sutures and minor dressings.

Reception
Our team of reception staff will do all they can to help you. If requesting an emergency appointment, in order to assist the doctor in assessing priority it may be necessary for our staff to enquire as to the nature of your condition. Our reception staff may ask a number of questions to ensure you are directed to the most appropriate person.
When coming into our building, reception is ahead and slightly to the right. If you are attending for an appointment, please either use the touch screen to the left of the reception desk to check in, or report to one of the staff that you have arrived.
District Nurses
The District Nursing Services visit housebound patients, in their own home, and services include wound care, care of the terminally ill, care of the chronically sick and care of the disabled. They also work closely with the surgery providing support for our homeless patients.
Health Visitors
The services offered include children’s health checks, advice on children’s health, post natal well-being, health promotion and advice, baby clinics on Tuesday from 11.30-13.30 and home visiting. Messages can be left on the answer phone and health visitors will return your call.
Midwife
Antenatal clinic is run on a Tuesday and Wednesday from 11.00 to 12.00 noon at the Health Centre, mainly by Fiona. The Community Midwife team can be contacted at Anwen Ward, Llandough Hospital on 029 2071 6040.
