Butetown Medical Practice are starting to see a sharp increase in enquiries about weight loss drugs recently announced in the media – in-particular Mounjaro. We have also seen an increase in patients accessing weight loss jabs through private providers.

We ask that you DO NOT contact your GP surgery to try and obtain Mounjaro for weight loss as your GPs cannot prescribe Mounjaro for weight loss on the NHS.

Please can you inform us if you have been commenced on them elsewhere in case of complications or interactions with medications that we prescribe.
